Tyrants And Their Ideologies Must Be Hammered Down …Forever

We are capable of understanding human behavior better than ever before in history. However, we still manage to get caught off guard every time a deranged tyrant goes on in a rampage of crimes, abuses, and violations.
The invasion of Ukraine, carried out by Vladimir Putin, his systematic and unjustified attacks, resulting in human rights violations and war crimes, is the most recent example.
Putin is a creature created and bred in a system based on repression, manipulation, fear, conflict, hatred, and a deeply rooted resentment. An animal product of belligerence who can not conceive his existence out of the realm of bellicosity. He has no place in a world of rights, democracy, inclusiveness, and harmony. His brain can not function in these conditions. He simply can not manage himself to operate without resorting to questionable methods.
Vladimir Putin and those like him can only operate by these methods, stealing, abusing, taking, demanding, lying; practices that neither have any merit nor require any kind of intelligence, diplomacy, or persuasion skills, to achieve what is desired. These autocrats harbor a nostalgia for those times when people were less aware, more isolated, and less connected, times when it was easier to get away with their crimes without being held accountable. Now, they are trying desperately to pull us back to those dark times by force, manipulation, and deception.
The list of lies goes on and on, they seem to repeat themselves. “We will not invade, We do not have concentration camps, we are not developing weapons.”

The tells of a pathologic megalomaniac are clear and easy to catch; these are not complex individuals, most of them are not even particularly intelligent. Charismatic? yes, the majority of these tyrants can be very charismatic, although, we can argue that the charisma of these populists has to do more with the gullibility of their audience than with their personality. They appeal to a kind of public with a propensity to be manipulated through their fears, prejudice, resentment, ignorance, and lack of criteria. This allows them to gather a large following that makes them look like legitimate leaders.

We shake hands with these autocrats in summits and events, we give them decision-making positions in international organizations, we make deals with them, empower them by buying their resources, manufacturing in their countries with their cheap labor, and all this while we fall for their lies and manipulations, putting ourselves in the vulnerable position of dependency.
That is when they grab us by the balls.

At first, they put on a facade of globalism, diplomacy, and cooperation, but there is always a catch. Soon we find ourselves between a rock and a hard place, having to decide between either supporting or overlooking their atrocities or making a big dent in our economies.
It is incredibly more costly having to implement sanctions and pull operations back from a rogue state than preventing doing business with criminals in the first place.

We know who they are and what they want. We must stop pretending we have no idea who we are dealing with. From the most seasoned ones like Putin and some others (unmentionables due to my current geographical location) to the most recent clownish wannabes dictators like Maduro and Trump, they are all classic, textbook-tyrants.

They are all over, some more evil and dangerous than others, some with more resources than others, but all equally detrimental to the harmonic functioning and development of our societies. These individuals are not leaders of the future, they have no place in modern and globalized societies, they try to pull us back to long gone and regrettable times.
Like rusty nails, they and their outdated ideologies must be hammered down forever. We can not continue to empower these criminals any longer, giving them the upper hand and the ability to manipulate and bully the rest of the world at their whim.
